Gregory Castle

Gregory Oscar Castle, age 65, passed away on September 13, 2015. He was born in Canton, Ohio to Robert and Ruth (Klotz) Castle on March 13, 1950. Greg graduated from Hoover High School in 1968 and the Ohio College of Massotherapy in 2002. He was a Licensed Massage Therapist by the State Medical Board of Ohio since January 2003 until his retirement in December 2014. Greg was a Scoutmaster for Troop 1 BSA from 1988 to 1992. He was also employed by ADT Security, Tuscarawas Valley Physical Therapy, and Mercy Health Center in Tuscarawas County.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother; James Castle; and sister, Susan (Castle) Gray. Surviving Greg is his wife of 36 years, Joy (Deeter) Castle; son, Jason (Tina) Castle of North Canton; grandsons, Nicolas Castle and Dameon VanScyoc; brothers, Richard (Kathie) Castle of Holland, Michigan and Bruce (Barbara) Castle of Royal Oak, Michigan; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Deeter of Somerset, Pennsylvania; and numerous loved nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend an open house Celebration of Greg's life gathering, to be held on Sunday October 11th, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:30pm at the Fieldcrest Estate, 1346 Easthill (55th) St SE, North Canton, Ohio 44720. Memorial contributions can be made in Greg’s memory to: Stand Up to Cancer or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
