Hubert was a resident of Canton, Ohio most of his life. He worked for Beaver Excavating for 25 years as a heavy equipment operator. Hubert loved to play cards, gamble, and drive around looking for deer. He also enjoyed attending flea markets and auctions. Hubert was a very proud grandpa.
Hubert was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. (Kerns) Brownfield in 2003; sons, Jeffery, Kenneth, and Gregory; grandsons, Dustin and Maverick; and twelve siblings of which he was the last surviving of 13.
He is survived by his son, Edward (Tammy) of Summerville, SC; daughter, Nancy (Perry) Wilson of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Jessie, James, Mycheal, Crystal, Cassandra, Timothy, Tiffany, Sara, and Jamie; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, located at 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, OH 44718, on February 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
