Jill was born on December 18, 1957, in Canton, to Sherwood and Nancy (Sunday) Mohler. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1976 and later attended Portage Lakes Career Center to earn her medical coding certification. After high school, she started working for The Hoover Company as a secretary until 2004. She then later worked for Babcock and Wilcox. In her free time, her and her friends liked to gather for their book and card clubs. Jill was artistic and loved to craft with cardstock, wreath-making, and creating fairy gardens for her yard. She especially loved to craft with her grandkids. Jill was an amateur birder and enjoyed going to the Stark Parks for their bird event. She loved music (especially country music) and would often go to Jackson Park for their music events
Jill is survived her daughter, Katelyn (Jeff) Masters, two grandchildren, Emmilyn and Gracelyn Masters, her mother, Nancy Mohler, three siblings, Deborah Mohler, Kim (Kern) Mollet, and Brian (Rachel) Mohler, and many nieces and nephews.
Jill is preceded in death by her father, Sherwood Mohler, and her closest aunts, Eileen McDonald, Naomi Robenstine, and Rosanne Shaffer.
Per her wishes, Jill will be cremated and calling hours will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. She will later be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens.
