Joan Marie Johanning

She was a 1964 graduate of Louisville High School and worked for numerous years as a truck driver doing long hauls across the country. After she got her fill of traveling, she settled back down in her hometown of Louisville where she worked as a Manager for McDonalds and met her significant other, Elvis M. Yoho with whom she spent the remainder of her life. She was a long time member of the Eagles where she enjoyed playing bingo and dining with friends. She also loved to bake, especially around the holidays.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her sister; sister-in-law, Bonnie Johanning; and her nephews, Mike Lynch and Ronald Lynch.

She is survived by her significant other, Elvis M. Yoho; step-daughter, Megan J. (Yoho) Spires; son-in-law, Alex Spires; step-grandchildren, Riley and Will Spires; brother, Bob Johanning, Sr.; nephews, Doug Lynch, and Bob Johanning, Jr.; nieces, Tammy (Lynch) VanDyne, Jane (Johanning) Runge, Jeannie Lynch, Lisa (Lynch) Frank, Laurie (Lynch) Adkins, Linda Boedeker, and KerryAnn Luczak.
