JoAnn McCreary

JoAnn was born on April 17, 1935 in Tuscarawas, Ohio to the late Earl and Isabell (Roth) Goshorn. She was a graduate of Tuscarawas High School. In February oh 1953, she married Melvin M. McCreary and enjoyed 62 years of marriage with him until his passing in November of 2015. She worked for many years as a deli clerk, most recently at Kroger, until she retired. JoAnn enjoyed listening to country music, going to the MGM casino, and she loved reading paperback romances. She also enjoyed watching the Kelly & Mark show every morning.

JoAnn is survived by her son, Melvin, her three siblings: Bill (Mel) Goshorn, Molly Lanning, and Karen (Jeff) Lester; and many nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, JoAnn will be privately laid to rest with her husband at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Karlo-Libby Funeral Home is assisting the family.
