

Mary Lucille Hawley, age 92, of North Canton, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at St. Luke Nursing Home. She was born August 17, 1920 in Waynesburg, Ohio to the late Joseph and Carmella (Leggio) Albert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. Hawley; six brothers, Joe, Sandy, Marion, Ross, Sam and Tony; and two sisters, Laura and Jenny.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas of Palm Harbor, Florida, Richard and wife Terri of North Canton, Ohio, Homer and wife Joan of Clarkston, Michigan; daughter, Janet and husband Jim Renner of Huntingburg, Indiana; and ten grandchildren, Carrie, Ben, Emily, Adam, Natalie, Katherine, Lauren, Katie, Michelle, and Tom.
Mary was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Church, North Canton, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 20 years, and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She and her husband, Homer, sponsored many marriage couples through St. Paul’s Church. Mary had a passion for playing cards, making food to deliver to those in need, and caring for her family and her church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00am at St. Paul’s Church, North Canton with Rev. Msgr. James A. Clarke officiating. Entombment will follow at North Lawn Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday (TODAY) from 5:30-7:30pm in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Church, the Eternal World Television Network (EWTN), or the American Cancer Society.
