Robert R. Killian died on May 25, 2015. He was the son of Paul B. and Helen (Goshorn) Killian and was born on October 5, 1925 in Canton, Ohio. After Robert graduated from McKinley High School in 1943, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served in World War II. He was at Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944. He retired from Westfield Insurance Company and was a retired member of the Stark County Bar Association. Bob was a lifelong Member of Christ Presbyterian Church.
His son, Jeffery Killian precedes him in death. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, John (Marcia), James (Nancy), and Michael (Lisa); eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
