Stanley Glen Davis passed away August 1, 2016 in Westlake, Ohio. He was a resident of Brooklyn, Ohio. Stanley was born July 24, 1939 in Waynesburg, Ohio to Donald and Ruth Davis. He graduated from Sandy Valley High School in 1958, served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963, and worked at Hercules Engines from 1964 to 1999. Stanley enjoyed building things with his son-in-law and grandsons, Indians Baseball, motorcycles, reading, listening to country music, and watching the Cleveland Browns.
Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Donald W. Davis, his mother, Ruth Ann (Fox) Davis, and his brothers, Vince Davis, and Clint Davis. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Davis, daughter, Tina (Jason) Wasserbauer, grandchildren, Maxwell Stanley Wasserbauer, Alexander Michael Wasserbauer, and Samuel Thomas Wasserbauer, and sisters, Stacey Wilson, and Cheryl Duram.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clarence Church at 30106 Lorain Road, North Olmstead, Ohio. A memorial luncheon will immediately follow at Wagner’s of Westlake, at 30855 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the Ames Family Hospice House of Western Reserve and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
