He was born March 2, 1954 in Canton, Ohio to Ira and Mary (Loughry) Nestor. Steve received a degree in Accounting from Mount Union College, and worked as a CPA for the Summit County Fiscal Office. He was a member of Marlboro Christian Church, and a proud father and grandfather; the heart and soul of the Nestor family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Nestor; children, Jennifer (Aaron) Brackman, and Michael Nestor; grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, Ty, and Kaleigh; sisters, Patsy Champer, and Linda Nestor; brother-in-law, Ray (Terry) Braddy; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Rick Lerch, and Allen Beck.
Steve was a gracious, loving, and forgiving man who generously gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation to Lifebanc. He was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Louisville, Ohio. Friends may call from 5-8pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marlboro Christian Church, 9383 Edison Street, Alliance, OH 44601.
