Tanya was born on April 19th, 1971, to Windell “Vance” and Janice Williams in Carmel, California. The family moved often during her childhood due to Vance’s career in the Navy, spending the most time in California, Sicily, and Virginia. She attended Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
Tanya had two daughters that she treasured more than anything. She never missed a band concert, took many turns as Girl Scout “Cookie Mom”, and was an enthusiastic supporter of even their most eccentric interests. She then married Travis Fiegly in 2024, after many happy years together. The couple met at a mutual friend’s bonfire and quickly became inseparable.
Tanya was a vibrant and beautiful person, whose smile lit up every room. She was an incredible mother, wife, and friend, and she will be remembered for her intelligence, independence, and endless kindness. She loved spending time with her family, walking on the beach, camping trips, and any and all chicken-themed household decor.
She is preceded in death by her father, Vance; and her aunt and uncle, Allene and Harry Weibel. She is survived by her mother, Janice; her husband, Travis; her two daughters, Emma and Samantha Sours; her aunt and uncle, Myrna and Tony Uhler; several cousins, and countless friends.
The family would also like to express thanks to the many doctors, nurses, and staff in the MICU and Hospice at Cleveland Clinic for their compassionate care and support.
A visitation will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, located at 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, OH 44718, on January 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will follow starting at 7:00 pm.
Anyone who knew and loved her is welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation at https://netrf.org/get-involved/give-now/.
