Thomas Gerard Cullen

Being in Dad's presence was an infectious infusion of vim, vigor, vitality, youth and good cheer. He was and will remain a true 'Hero' who embraced life and will forever be embellished in our hearts.

Dad's life-long occupation was food and beverage sales and business owner. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA where he attended North Catholic High School and Allegheny Vo-Tech school. He enlisted in the US Army and served in the Korean conflict. In Pittsburgh, PA he met his late wife, Marie (Weber) Cullen and relocated to North Canton, Ohio where he spent the rest of his life.

He is survived by his beloved children, Dr. Mark Cullen and special friend Dorothy Jackson, Dawn Cullen, and Ladyne (Cullen) Bunsey and son-in-law Christopher Bunsey, granddaughter, Malaya Cullen, two sisters, Mary Battle and Margaret Michalka, two brothers, Joe and Paul Cullen and numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and served as Eucharistic Minister at Mercy Hospital.

Services will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home from 12pm - 3pm and 6pm-9pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Please refer to www.karlofh.com for the date and time of the Mass service at St. Paul's Church in North Canton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations can me made to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
