Vivian L Selinsky

Vivian L. Selinsky, age 91, of North Canton, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was born September 28, 1920 to the late Clarence “Jack” and Sadie (Wenger) Giey. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, North Canton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alva “Bub” Selinsky in 2010; sister, Miriam Dudley; and brother, Merlin Giey. She is survived by her daughter Joan (Lynn) Hylton of N. Canton; sons, Ned (Nancy) of N. Canton, Tim (Carol) of Massillon, John (Pam) of N. Canton, and Jeff (Debbie) of New Philadelphia; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Zion United Church of Christ, 415 S. Main Street, North Canton, Ohio with the Rev. Eli O. Klingensmith officiating. Interment in North Canton Cemetery. Friends will be received 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 15th in the Karlo- Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road N.W., Canton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Zion United Church of Christ or the Community Hospice of Stark County, 408 9th St. SW, Canton, OH 44707. The family would like to thank Community Care Givers and all of the aids for their loving care of Vivian. A special thank you to Crossroads Hospice and Dr. Maria Young for everything they did for Vivian and her family.
