Willa Jean Holderman

Willa was born in Given, West Virginia on May 25, 1929 to the late Jesse Austin and Linnie Bell (Hill) Carney. She attended Jefferson School of Commerce for business. She was married to Eugene Lee Holderman on and they celebrated 30 years of marriage before he died in June of 1993.

Willa was a devoted Homemaker and Business Manager for her husband excavating company. She was a member of the Canton First Church of the Nazarene. In her final years, she had a passion for playing, laughing, and loving on her great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Willa is preceded in death by her son, Mark Holderman.

Willa is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (John) Miller, her granddaughter, Jessica (Brian) Gonser, her grandson, Matthew (Amanda) Campbell, and her great-grandchildren: Lilah Gonser (7), Lincoln Gonser (4), and Tristen Campbell (6mo).

Funeral services will be held at Karlo and Libby Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Amy Downard officiating. Visitation will be held prior to her services on Tuesday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Willa will be privately laid to rest at a later date at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
