Barbara passed away July 12, 2025 in Mesquite. She was born April 3, 1937 in Canton to Shadric McDonald Teel and Ione Mae Hubbard Teel.
Barbara was a former member of Peak and Eastside Church of Christ and a current member of Meadow View Church of Christ in Mesquite. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, Barbara worked for Employers Casualty Company for 36 years. She was very devoted to her mother and sister and took care of them when their health failed.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Shadric and Ione Teel; brother, S.M. Teel; and two sisters: Atholene and Marcelle Teel. She is survived by her nephew, Steve and Pam Teel; niece, Jana Morrison and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
