

He was the son of Jewel and Earl Wiley. He was the fourth of six children. He entered the military and served as a paratrooper in Germany from 1955 to 1958. On May 24, 1962, he married Mary Ann Hammac. C.B. and Mary owned and operated a grocery store and a gun store in Dallas. C.B. also served in the Dallas Police Department. In March of 1972 they moved to Canton and opened Wiley and Son's Gun Store. C.B. also pursued his interest in exotic animals.
He entered law enforcement in Van Zandt County in 1974. He served as Justice of the Peace and then Constable. He served in Law Enforcement for over 50 years. He was the president of The First Monday Centennial, and a member of the Canton Lions Club. His greatest joy was found in serving the people of Van Zandt County.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Wiley, and their daughter Pam Hinton and her husband Byron Hinton; son David Wiley of Wills Point. His grandchildren are Beau and Hannah Hinton, Cody Wiley and Mary Katherine Wheeler. His great grandchildren are Hondo Wiley and Liam Wheeler. His last sibling is Jewel Morren.
He is preceded in death by a son Cash Wiley, his parents Jewel and Earl Wiley, his sister Joyce Munsel, brother Earl Wiley, sister Wanda Wiley, and brother David Wiley.
The funeral will be held 2 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Eubank Funeral Home. The Honorable Judge Ronnie L. Daniell will be officiating the ceremony and remained a loyal and true friend to the end. C.B. will be laid to rest at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Wiley, Cody Wiley, Tony Katsoulas, Pat Jordan, Nicky Hensen, and Robert Tisdale. Honorary pallbearers are Judge Ronnie L. Daniel, Sandra Plaster and Dr. John Turner.
