A memorial service for Charles Andrew Jordan, 30, of Canton, will be held 10 am Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Crossroads Church in Canton. A private graveside service was held in Holly Springs Cemetery in Martins Mill.
Charlie passed away December 21, 2018 in Forney, Texas. He was born June 21, 1988 in Lawrenceville, Georgia to Charles Cooper Jordan and Hazel Lynn Howansky Jordan.
Charlie was born in Georgia, but grew up in East Texas. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and enjoyed meditating on God’s Word and listening to various genres of Christian music. Charlie enthusiastically enjoyed many activities including: snowboarding, camping, mountain biking, hiking, traveling and cooking. As a young adult he enjoyed martial arts and received his brown belt in Karate. Charlie was also a music enthusiast. He was a generous person and enjoyed helping people. Charlie loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a truss designer working at Steelway International for the past nine years.
Charles is survived by his mother, Hazel Lynn Jordan; father, Charles Cooper Jordan; brother, Peter and Ashley Jordan and their children: Pierson, Luke, Seth and Anna; sister, Norma and Cameron Reese and their children: Elijah, Ava and Gabriel; sister, Carolyn and Jonathan Reese and their children: Laurence and Wesley; and his dear friend, Kaity Parker.
Pallbearers were Peter Jordan, Cameron Reese, Jonathan Reese and Johnny Sawyer.
