Chester Bernie Williams

Chester grew up in the East Texas area. On July 24, 1963 he married the love of his life, Velma Lee Brooks. They had a love that blossomed and lasted over 60 years, from the time they started dating in high school till Velma’s passing in 2017. Chester was a proud union member of the Sprinkler Fitter’s Union 669. He loved working on and driving his three prized cars; 1966 Mustang, 1957 Chevy and 1951 Mercury. When not in his prized cars you could find him riding his motorcycle. Chester enjoyed working in his yard and growing roses. Most precious to him was his children, grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He loved having little ones around and watching them grow. Chester loved his family and he will be greatly missed by his loved ones and his friends.

Chester is survived by his children; Cathy Williams, Mike Williams, Tammy and Kenneth Acker, Janet and Chris Martin, Beth Rowley; grandchildren; Brett Williams, Christopher Martin, Arron Martin, Chelesy Williams, Victoria Williams and Elizabeth Williams; great grandchildren; Karli, Lena, Anna, Tripp and soon to make an appearance, Colton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Huston and Beatrice Williams; his beautiful wife, Velma Lee Williams.
