Services for Claude Castleberry, 85, of Canton, Texas who went to be with his heavenly father January 24, 2022, will be held Friday, February 11, at 11am at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX. Claude was born to Mary Alice Spray and Edward Castleberry November 12, 1936 in Matador, Texas. He lived most of his life in Grand Prairie, Texas where he worked as a police officer and a firefighter. After retiring from the Grand Prairie Fire Department, he opened Duncanville Pawn & Gun, which he owned & operated until he was ready to truly retire to Canton, Texas.
Claude is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Alton Castleberry and his sister, Joyce Lentz. He is survived by daughters: Cara Doyle and husband Ralph, Page Castleberry, Christy Anderson and husband Ryan: brother, Sidney Castleberry; and sisters: Betty Ruth Castleberry and Debra Rhoades. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 1 great-granddaughter and 2 great-grandsons.
