

Corine Williams, 96, of Gilmer, TX, passed away Feb. 4, 2015 in Gilmer. Services are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, Feb. 7th at the LaFayette Baptist Church in Pittsburg, TX, with Bro. Wayne Norvell and Bro. Joe Caudle officiating.
She was born March 17, 1918 in Cox, TX, to Daniel Edward & Donnie Desota Miller Nipper.
Interment will be in LaFayette Cemetery, Pittsburg, Texas.
Corine was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gilmer, TX. She was married 25 years to her husband, “Obie” before his passing in 1969. Corine was a great cook and enjoyed reading, crafts, quilting and she loved pictures. She liked to garden and can vegetables. Corine loved having her family around especially her grandkids and she enjoyed making cookies and snacks for them.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, Obie Wesley Williams, 3 brothers, Jimmy, William and Aubrey, 2 sisters, Euna and Cordie.
Corine is survived by her 3 Sons, O. W. & Lynda Williams of Splendora, TX, Billy & Kathy Williams of Canton, TX, Bobby & Mary Williams of Ben Wheeler, TX, Daughter, Linda & Roy Helpenstill of Gilmer, TX, Step Daughter, Laverne Crow of Tyler, TX, Special Family Friends, Revina & Mike Davis of Gilmer, TX, Sister-in-law, Mert Nipper of Longview, TX, 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Paul Williams, Duane Sharp, Robert Williams, Reeves Ham, Danny Nipper and Jimmy Mattox
Honorary Pallbearers are Jeremy Helpenstill, Robert Mattox, Brad Dyer, John Jeter and Henry Grandberry.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
