Services for Dan Aaron Yancey, 45, of Bedford, TX are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton, TX with Bro. David Harkins officiating. Interment will be at Meredith Campground in Athens, TX.
Dan passed away February 21, 2018, in Richardson, TX.
He was born April 28, 1972, in Tyler, TX to Kelly Dale and Peggy Jo Yancey.
Dan grew up in the Walton Community and graduated from Athens High School in 1990. He moved to College Station and attended Texas A&M. He later settled in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He enjoyed participating in events such as Scarborough Fair, etc. He was well loved by all who knew him.
Dan is survived by his mother, Peggy Yancey of Eustace; sister, Dawn and husband, Joe Westmoreland of Eustace; sister, Dianne and husband, Mitchell Bascomb of Mesquite and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation is scheduled at 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2017, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
