Donald has lived in Canton most of his life. After serving in the Marines, he became a dairyman until he retired. He was a man's man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Donald was a Baptist by faith.
Mr. Key is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Key; mother, Lola Ray Kidd; and step-father, Lawrence Kidd.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Kristy and Kent Perkins of Canton; son, Corby and Angela Key of Canton; six grandchildren: Brittney and Will Graham, Zant Perkins, Case Perkins, Alex Sanderson, Allyssa Sanderson and Dash Key; two great-granddaughters: Stevie and Kobi; and a sister, Joy Nell Grubb of Richardson.
Following Donald's wishes, there will be a private memorial at a later date.
