Edmond passed away September 8, 2017 in Tyler, TX.
He was born September 11, 1919 in Olean, NY to Edmond Pilon and Madge Bailey.
Edmond grew up in Port Ville, NY. He joined the Army and served overseas during WWII. When he returned home, Edmond moved to Hobbs, NM in 1945. Edmond worked for Bowell Oil for 40 years. He spent 51 years living in New Mexico before settling in Canton, TX in 1996. Edmond was a member of Canton Church of Christ. He enjoyed carpentry, watching sports, and traveling to New York every year to visit family.
He is survived by his Son, Richard & DeeAnn Pilon; Grandson, Richard Eugene Pilon Jr.; Granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Murdock; and Stepson, David Hardy.
Edmond is preceded in death by his Parents, Edmond & Madge Pilon; Wife, Frances Burnelle Pilon; Wife, Lila Pilon; Wife, Laverne Pilon; Brothers: Harry Pilon and Art Pilon; Stepdaughters: Carolyn Gaston and Martha Huckabee.
Family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Canton.
