Mr. Richardson passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, in Canton. George was born July 30, 1941 in Waterbury, Connecticut to George Arthur Richardson, Sr. and Marjorie Ellen Rainville Richardson.
George served in the Army as a transport driver in Europe. After leaving the military, he was a truck driver for several years before becoming a rancher. Mr. Richardson was a member of the American Legion. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, watching westerns and drinking strawberry shakes and Budweiser. He loved flirting with the nurses in the nursing home.
Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gordon Richardson; and a sister, Eleanor Walukas.
George is survived by his brother, Robert Richardson; nephew, Paul and Julie Walukas; nephew, David Walukas; niece, Johnni Laychak; nephew, Bobby and Carmen Richardson; niece, Brittany Richardson and Steven Harding; nephew, Brandon Richardson; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
