Henrietta 'Mary' Flowers

Interment will be in Haven of Memories.

Mrs. Flowers passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, in Athens. She was born December 28, 1929, in Canton to Charles Randolph and Mary Zenovia Barrier Conner.

Mary was a Christian by faith. She grew up in Canton and lived in the Bridgeport and Runaway Bay area for 50 years. She had lived in Mansfield for the past several years. Mary loved to knit, have tea parties with her friends and great-grandchildren, and go shopping. She really enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Flowers is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Gene Flowers; son, Michael Flowers; parents, Charles and Mary Conner; brother, Thomas Conner and sister, Bessie Wilkerson.

Mary is survived by her two grandsons: Craig Flowers of Mabank and Stephen Flowers and wife, Jody, of Mabank; two great-grandchildren: Lauren and Preston Flowers; three sisters: Bertha Rosenburg of Grass Valley, California, Amie Richardson of Burleson, and Georgie Roberts of Burleson; brother, Bobby Conner of Mabank; nieces: Kim Slagle and Becky Moss, among other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Conner, Steve Moss, Chuck Davis, Preston Flowers, Craig Flowers and Stephen Flowers.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the American Heart Association.
