Henry Eugene Watson

Graveside services will be held at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

Eugene passed away on January 16, 2017 in Grand Saline.

He was born on January 16, 1937 in Fruitvale to Henry and Rosie Brown Watson.

Eugene worked in a nursery for the majority of his life. He loved to fish, plant, sitting in his swing, and just being outside. He was a loving father and grandfather as well as a great and wonderful husband. He was an all-around people’s person who was kind hearted.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Junior, Ernest, and Truman.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberley Watson; son, Randy and Helen Watson; daughter, Penny Christine and Henry Gentle; daughter, Kathy Watson; daughter, Sheila Watson; grandchildren, Tommy Watson, Justin Gentle, Jason Watson, Mandy Watson, Tiffany Carpenter, Kelly Carpenter, Rachelle Gentle, Anthony Johnson Jr, Chris Carpenter, Amber Gentle, Elisha Watson, Tisha Rendon, and Raven Johnson; fourteen great grandchildren, and mother of children and grandchildren, Wanda Alexander Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Watson, Jason Watson, Justin Gentle, Thomas Watson and Anthony Johnson Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 20, 2016 at Eubank Funeral Home from 6 pm to 8 pm.
