Mr. Casey passed away December 9, 2016 at his home. He was born September 13, 1954, in Athens to Willie G. "Bill" and Marie Trahan Casey.
John was a member of the Midway Church of God. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, operating heavy equipment, and driving around the countryside in his truck, "Old Blacky." John also enjoyed cooking BBQ and smoking briskets. He loved donating his time cooking for churches and other organizations. John loved his family and always enjoyed his church family. He enjoyed sharing God's word and promises on Facebook. This was his way of praising God, a true reflection of his faith.
Mr. Casey is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Marie Casey.
John is survived by his two sisters and their husbands: Billie Casey Risner and David of Canton and Janice Casey Medina and Al of Kingman, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
John will be missed, he was very humble and loved showing kindness and love for others, always sharing a big smile.
