Services for Junior Lee White, 87, of Martins Mill, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. David Harkins officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Mr. White passed away December 24, 2015 in Athens. He was born October 13, 1928, in Martins Mill to Charlie Lee and Lillie Jewel Wilson White.
Junior was a member of the China Grove Baptist Church. After graduating from Martins Mill High School, he joined the US Army and served in the Korean War. Junior worked for over 30 years and retired from Dresser Industries in Dallas. He enjoyed Country and Blue Grass Music, fishing, farming and large gardens. Junior was a hard worker.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Betty White and his parents.
Junior is survived by his sons: Larry White of Martins Mill, and Gary and Rhonda White of Bristow, OK; 5 grandchildren: Allen, Dustyn, Colby, Paige and Ashlyn; 4 step-grandchildren: Lisa, Shannon, Nicole and Brittany; 22 great-grandchildren; and a brother, J.C. and Carmen White of Canton.
Pallbearers are Dustyn White, Colby White, Allen White, Jason Heller and Caleb Holzrichter.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
