LaCretia Ann Hosch

LaCretia passed away on July 10, 2024 in Gallup, New Mexico, doing what she enjoyed the most, vacationing with family. She was born on July 23, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Hoy Burrows and Gwendolyn Jean Middleton Burrows.

LaCretia grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from H. Grady Spruce in 1971. She was Baptist by faith. LaCretia enjoyed traveling, time at the beach and camping. Her biggest joy was time with family. She beamed when talking about the time she spent running around with her children and grandchildren; going to concerts, eating Mexican food and visiting different arboretums. LeCretia’s family was her pride and joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gwendolyn Burrows; husband, Charles Hosch; brother, Chuck Burrows.

LaCretia is survived by her children: Marcie and Jason McAlister, Derek Palmer, Shad and Athena Palmer; grandchildren, Destiny Cupples, Brandon Cupples, Courtney Pocasangre, Quentin Palmer, Izabella Palmer, Julian Palmer, Emma Grace Palmer, Sklyar Paige Palmer; five great grandchildren; sisters, Debra Burdette and Sheryl Joubert; brother, Troy Burrows.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Davis Cemetery in Athens, Texas.
