Mary Jo Coil Pledger

Burial will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.

Mary was born July 26, 1935 in Pittsburg, Texas. Her parents were Samuel William Stracener and Mae Julia Tucker Huggins.

She went to be with her Lord on April 24, 2015 in Tyler, Texas.

Mary is survived by her Son & wife, Russell and Betty Gilfoy, Daughter, Cynthia Gottlieb, Granddaughter, Trinity Gilfoy, Brother, Melton Stracener and wife Lucille, and Sister, Melba Luther.

Mary was preceded in death by her Parents, Three Husbands, Ed Gilfoy, A.J. Coil, and Bill Pledger; Son-in-law, Larry Gottlieb, Granddaughter, Sarah Gilfoy, and by 5 Brothers and 8 Sisters.

Mary loved the Lord. She was saved and baptized at Wildwood Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas at the age of 23. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church of Mabank, Texas. At the time she went to be with the Lord, she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Athens, Texas. Mary was a very out-going, loving, and happy person that will be missed by all who knew her.

The family offers a special thanks to Bro. Kenneth and Sis. Dorothy Hensley for their years of pastoral friendship.

Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
