Rick Miller

Services for Ernest Richard "Rick" Miller, 74, of Canton, will be held 2 pm Friday, March 24, 2023, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Interment will be in the DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 10:30 am.

Mr. Miller passed away March 18, 2023 in Canton. He was born March 25, 1948 in Canon City, Colorado to George August Miller and Fannie Mae Bolin Miller.

Rick grew up in Colorado and Oregon. After graduating high school, he joined the US Navy and served in Vietnam as a helicopter Pilot. Rick had an ongoing dedication to his military brothers and sisters. He was a member of Christian Motorcycle Association and proudly escorted the mobile Black Wall and other numerous events. He earned his degree and began a career as an Architectural Engineer. Rick retired from Old Castle MFG. in Terrell. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and traveling. He was a real life "MacGyver" and could fix anything. Rick had been managing an RV park. He took pride in making the park a great place to visit.

Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents, George and Fannie; brother, William Pasco; and two sisters: Edna Mae Little and Rose Marie Potts.

Rick is survived by his significant other, Patricia Lewis; sister Mary Koch; niece, Monica (Craig) Burgess; two nephews: Michael Koch and Allen (Monica) Koch and numerous cousins. Patricia's children: Shannon Bowman and Travis Lewis; Patricia's nine grandchildren; his dog, Bella.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
