Robert Lawrance "Bob" Bledsoe

Burial will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, TX.

Bob passed away Dec. 3, 2014 in Tyler, TX.

Bob was born Nov. 17, 1933 in Houston, TX. to Russell F. & Mildred Patrick Bledsoe.

Bob was a member of Word of Victory in Canton, TX. He loved to play golf and tennis and was an avid runner when he was young. Bob enjoyed photography. He loved gospel music and sang for many families during their loved one's funeral. During the Korean Conflict Bob served in the Army.

Bob is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Laura Ashley McConnell, and two brothers, Jerry Bledsoe and Jack Sides, Jr.

Survived by his wife, Charlotte Bledsoe of Canton, TX; daughter, Debra Ann Hyche of Chandler, TX; son & daughter-in-law, David & Lynette Bledsoe of Chandler, TX; 3 step-daughters & their husbands: Stephanie & Kevin Deibert of Canton, TX, Lisa & Shane Webber of Quitman, TX and Kimberly & Rex Byrns of Victoria, TX; step-son, James R. Burns of McKinney, TX; 4 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 5 step-great grandchildren; and

other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Jeremy McConnell, Joshua McConnell, Brennen Bledsoe, Christian Deibert, Daniel Deibert and Cody Connor.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
