Ruby Joyce Evans and David Lynn Evans

David and Ruby were devoted to each other even into death. The couple married on April 16, 1973 and raised two children. They were part of the Army family. David, 1st Sargent and Ruby, the woman behind the man. They were known among their Army family as the couple to go to when you need advise or counseling. David with his big heart and Ruby as a mother figure, always had an opening door and a meal. The couple retired to the Edgewood area where they enjoyed family dinners and spending time with grandchildren. The couple's pride and joy was their family. They loved the Lord and spending time with family.

David and Ruby are survived by their children, Justin Evans and JoAnna Becvar; grandchildren, Breann Estrada and husband, Lewis, Shelby Evans, Rusty Evans, Peyton Becvar, Janet Lake and husband, Justin, Katelynn Becvar; great-grandchildren, Braxton Lake, Kanan Lake, Annabelle Lake and Adilian Lake; Ruby's mother, JoAnn Wynn; her brother, Kenneth Wynn; her sisters, Linda Ciskowski and Ruth Robertson; David's siblings, Joe Wayne Evans and Carolyn Galloway.

They are preceded in death by her father, Willie Wynn; his parents, Joe and Mary Gumpert; his brothers, Gary and Don.

Funeral services will occur Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Eubank Funeral Home, with Bro. Steve Glosup, officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton, TX.
