

Memorial services for Wanda Bailey, 89, of Tyler, formerly of Canton, are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Canton with Rev. Donnie Barron officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Haven of Memories in Canton.
Mrs. Bailey passed away September 6, 2015 in Jacksonville. She was born June 20, 1926, in Canton to William Edgar and Elizabeth Jeanette Milling Ogletree.
Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton. She married James Douglas Bailey in 1943. Wanda retired from the Baptist Standard after 35 years of service. She and Doug lived in Dallas until they retired and moved to Canton. Wanda enjoyed her children, grandchildren and traveling during her retirement.
Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Douglas Bailey; son, Phillip Douglas Bailey, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Wanda is survived by her son and his wife, Mike and Darla Bailey of Plano; daughter and her husband, Jan and Stan McCain of Tyler; daughter-in-law, Becky Bailey of Plano; 5 grandchildren: Chad Bailey, Taylor and Justin Parker, Bailey and Payne Stinchfield, Ashley and Dan Jackson and Brent Bailey; 4 great-grandchildren: Eversen Parker, Addilynn Stinchfield, Cole Jackson and Camryn Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family appreciates all the loving care given to Wanda at the Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care and Heart to Heart Hospice. If desired, memorials may be given to Heart to Heart Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
A visitation will be held 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
