Today marks 3 years since you left us my boy, your dad and I share so many memories of you, some of them make us sad,  especially the ones of your last days and how much our hearts were hurting for you in your pain and suffering. We had a lot of encouragement from so many family and your friends and coworkers. The support was tremendous, so many people loved you from all over the world. On the other hand we had tons of beautiful memories of you! Enough to last us till we see you again! May our Lord's return be soon when the dead in Christ will be raised! May our Heavenly Father continue to have mercy on us.

My boy, today 12/16/2023 marks two years since you fell asleep in the Lord.  It's been really rough for all of us, but especially for me. I miss hearing your voice ,your laughter, your sense of humor and always your comforting words. Your memory is with me every way I turn, in all the little ways that was typical of you. Wish you were here that I could tell you about all the prophecies in the bible that are being fulfilled right before our eyes! I know you were always interested in them. One day closer to our Lord's return, one day closer for the dead in Christ to be raised. Our greatest hope is to see you again!! together with all the dead in Christ. !!  May He find us worthy to be in His Kingdom on this very earth. Next Year in Jerusalem or as soon as the LORD will!!

Good morning dear. Wishing you a peaceful day.  I watched Adrian's  memorial service yesterday and it was very touching yet very inspirational. Your son was a special child and both you and Brother James were specially chosen by God to be his parents. What a precious gift! And how lucky and blessed you are! What you had for 50+ years, some people never have even for one moment. When the trumpet sound, your boy will be there. Love you all.

Bro. Alan,

One thought on Bro. Adrian’s service today. That the US Air Force chose to honor Adrian with a service award though a civilian, I thought was literally remarkable. That is worthy of notice and making a remark about it.

The verses from Collosians would seem to be fulfilled in Adrian’s approach to his work. Truly “as unto the Lord” and it was noticed.

When I think back at some of those happiest of memories, I am taken back to simpler times.  And there were so so many happy memories.  In fact, for the life of me, I cannot remember a single time that we disagreed.  But I can recall many memories effortlessly of late nights under the bell tree at the camp, or bonfires, or Mets games, or tennis matches, or midnight drives to nowhere.  And when I think of those things I smile.  Your sweet boy had a very rare combination of talents and qualities that the world needs more of nowadays.  He was kind and thoughtful.  He put others before himself.  And boy oh boy could he make me laugh.  There were times when he got me laughing so hard I could barely breathe.  Which, of course, only made him smile more and try harder! 

 

I would like to think that we all learn and grow from everything that happens to us in this life.  Initially, I saw no obvious lesson that this loss would teach me, or any utility in the loss of Age for the rest of us left behind.  I though, perhaps there is not meant to be a lesson.  Perhaps this was simply his time, as there is a time for all of us.  Upon further reflection though, perhaps there is an opportunity for us to take something positive away from this after all – for us anyway.  Time is a whisper.  Blink and you’ve missed decades.  The lesson for me is to never take a second for granted.  Each day is blessing after all and what we do with our time reflects what we believe life to be all about.  Adrian TJ Mohabir lived very well.  He was a bible who smiled.  Anyone fortunate enough to meet him also met the words he believed and walked away with a bit of the faith that he learned to cultivate.

 

I am a better man for having met your son.  Thank you both for sharing him with me when we were all younger.  I want you to know that I miss him every day.  And even though we had not spoken much these last few years, I never stopped thinking about him or you.  I loved you all, still do.  Mike & Sharil

Sharilyn and I wanted to reach out to express our deepest condolences to your entire family.  Age was such a wonderful friend to us, and I always felt like an adopted son to the two of you.  I certainly spent enough time at your house.  In hindsight, I feel guilty about not chipping in for all the groceries and Roti that I consumed.  In looking backwards at life though, those years were some of the happiest of my life.  Not because things went especially well for me then and not because I shared in any great success – they were happy because of the friendships that I enjoyed.  And your son was a prince. 

 

I do not know why we became so close.  He was five years older than me.  Maybe he took me under his wing because he never had a younger brother.  All those girls in the Mohabir household!  Maybe he just wanted another boy to hang out with, who knows.  What I do know is that Saturday afternoon tennis, followed by Chinese food or Roti became like a second religion to me.  In many ways, it saved me, as did you two.  The two of you and your extended family were always so kind to me.  You did not have to be, but you were good Christians then and you remain so now.

 

Sharilyn and I were fortunate enough to be able to watch Adrian’s funeral service remotely, to help us, like so many people he touched over the years, say goodbye.  James, Elaine, we were awestruck at the composure that you were able to handle that situation with.  I know your response to that would be that you simply placed your faith in God to not try you with any burden you would not be able to bear.  Still.  We watched that service with reverence.  James, to see how you handled that moment with such grace.  And Elaine, what beautiful thoughts and sentiments you wrote down as a lasting tribute to your boy.  I have a son, and I do not believe I have the same well of strength that the two of you do.

 



In our grief of our beloved  son Adrian  we have inadvertently  omitted to  mention two very important grand children in Adrian life, beautiful Jaylin and Callie, children of  Matt.   Also how can we forget Mel" you're sitting in the masseuse chair" what a good sport Mel when you actually took on the task of massaging  Age's feet!! Sherilyn you too! looking forward to my massage when next I visit you! to all our family and friends thank you for your joining in on Zoom  from different parts of the globe to witness the service for Age.

A smiling, lovable, little boy. As a preteen, you visited me along with your sister Sally. Many things were new to you. Like Curious George, you got into the kitchen pantry looking for what, I do not know. Your answer was, “I am reading the labels”. How interesting I thought. 
It is now a family joke to share this memory of you.

Dear Age,

We experienced the world together sometimes with only a map and directions from an email. Fog, snow storms, broken toes, wiffleball, darts, ping pong and grilling, you were our center and there is nothing and no one that will ever replace you. You will remain in our hearts, thoughts and deeds. Thank you my friend,

Adrian Timothy Joseph Mohabir.The son of James and Maureen.The first grandson  of the Mohabir and Ragbeer family.          His grandfather Joseph was a Cathechist in the Lutheran Church in Lochaber _ as such Adrian was introduced to Sunday School as a child.
His father  James was the Sunday School teacher. His grandparents read the Bible and taught some of the hymns  in hindi language.  Adrian migrated to the USA at the age of9 together with his sister Salome who was 11at that time.We all lived with sister Meena and brother Jonathan Smith.We attended the Garfield Christadelphian Ecclesia.This is where we were all baptized.      Adrian was known to be the Golden Boy.He was a people's person . As his cousin Amelia said Adrian was a true connector in our family and at work.Sleep in peace our dearest Adrian until we meet again.❤❤❤💔💔💔💔

Adrian was a real hero.  He impacted the Latin America region positively, especially with the start of the pandemic where thousands of ventilators were deployed across the region.  His support was key to keep running the vents in hospitals of countries like Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Suriname, Colombia,  Chile, Argentina and Peru. Thousands of patients were benefitted from his contribution, and this number will never stop growing. 
He prepared the region for the challenge we were all facing, training more than 24 technicians of different nationalities.  His legacy will remain in each one of them.
On behalf of all those technicians, thank you, Adrian.  
RIP.

I met Adrian over 25 years ago, he gave me my first technical training at IMPACT. Due to I am living in Argentina, I saw him personally only 3 or 4 times in all these years but he never stopped being always available to solve technical problems of the equipment even outside the limits imposed by the companies. A great loss in every way. My condolences to his entire family.

Adrian was a respected and much loved member of ZOLL's Military Team.  He was also the world's foremost authority on maintaining and servicing the ZOLL ventilator used by all of the US and many foreign military services.  His contributions to the care and treatment of Wounded Warriors are widespread and will be long-lasting.  On a personal level, Age was a great travel companion and I enjoyed sharing a beverage or two with him in many far-flung places!  Rest in peace my friend.

We will miss him for now, but looking forward in throwing the ball around with him in the Kingdom!
