Annette Elizabeth Peterson

Annette Elizabeth Peterson, 97, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Fort Myers, Florida. Born in Stillman Valley, Illinois, Annette came with her husband and young family to Fort Myers in 1952. Annette, along with her family, was an active member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Fort Myers for many years and later was part of a small group of visionary men and women who started North Shore Church in North Fort Myers. She used her musical abilities on the piano and organ at church, as well as her gift with children to teach Sunday school classes and as an active participant in Child Evangelism Fellowship. Along with raising her family, she was also the bookkeeper for Waldee Brothers Packing in Fort Myers for over 30 years. Annette will be deeply missed by her many friends and family members. Annette is survived by sons James, Roger, Paul, and Robert and their wives; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and daughter-in-law, Ladonna. A memorial service celebrating her life and service will be held Saturday, September 8, at 2pm at North Shore Church (330 W. Mariana Avenue, North Fort Myers). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Shore Church.
