Carl F Michalski

Carl was born February 5, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Chicago Vocational HS, enlisted in the US Navy in 1961 and married his High School sweetheart, Judith Markowski 1963. Carl retired after 22 years of service, which included US Military bases within the US, Morocco, Germany, Scotland, Italy and USS Caron, before retiring in Cape Coral, FL. Following his retirement, he worked 15 years for the US Post Office, 15 years Real Estate and 13 years for LCSO at the Lee County Courthouse.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marie Michalski and brother Joseph "Buddy" Michalski. Survived by his loving wife, Judith Michalski of 60 years, sister, Robyn Johnson of Monee, IL, daughter, Lorrie Swink (Mark Swink) of Lake Mary, FL, daughter, Sandra Pelfrey of Cape Coral, FL, son, Paul Michalski (Mary Michalski) of Lake Mary, FL and daughter, Michelle Cook (Jimmy Cook) of St James, FL.

Carl was surrounded by 11 Grandchildren, BreeAnn Pelfrey, Jason Pelfrey, Justin Pelfrey, Douglas Swink, Derek Swink, Kyle Swink, Brittney Herrera, Kaylee Herrera, Brooke Michalski, Ashley and Aley. 11 Great Grandchildren; Evan, Kendra, Tori, Athena, Lilly, Lilah, Sydney, Charlotte, Ben, Jamison and Jaxtyn. Carl introduced his love of GOLF to each and every one of his Grandchildren!

More than anything Carl loved his family. He was a supportive and loving husband, nurturing Father and very proud Grandfather who will be dearly missed.

We will honor his life with a Military service at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
