Charles J. Sclafani

Charles J. Sclafani, 101 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on May 24, 2014. He was born on October 26, 1912 in New York City, NY to Vincent and Jenny Piazza Sclafani. He was a former resident of Highland Falls, NY and Hudson Falls, NY. Mr. Sclafani married Clotilde Petrazzuolo on September 30, 1939. He was a retired Budget Analyst at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.

He enjoyed to travel, visiting over 30 countries including, Italy, Russia, China, Japan, Israel, Morocco, Egypt, Thailand and Singapore.

Mr. Sclafani is survived by his son, Robert and his wife, Marydale Sclafani of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Margaret Sclafani of Cape Coral, Gregory (Shauna) Sclafani of Orem, UT, Jennifer Foutz of Phoenix, AZ, Catherine (Kevin) Belnap of Phoenix, AZ, Eileen Sclafani of Hudson Falls, NY; eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Clotilde Sclafani on July 7, 1997, sisters, Agnes Pascocello, Anna Uccello; brothers, Joseph Sclafani and Salvatore Sclafani.

Interment will be at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral.
