Deborah Rose Lee Lewerenz

Deborah Rose Lee Lewerenz, 61, of Teaneck New Jersey, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Born May 7, 1964, Deborah graduated from Teaneck HS in 1979. Her first child, Nichole, was born in Harris, NY in 1982; second daughter, Megan, was born in Harris NY, 1987 and son, Justin, followed in Goshen NY, 1989. She later moved to SWFL in 1989 where she had her youngest child, Dana, in Cape Coral, FL, 1993.

Throughout her life, Deborah loved caring for animals and got to do so while working at Pet Universe. She had a talent for housekeeping and worked at Gulf Coast Village Assisted Living from 2008 to 2016 where she cared deeply for the elderly and made friends along the way. Her children blessed her with grandchildren throughout the following years and she greatly enjoyed spending time with each of them. She also enjoyed supporting local animal adoptions, caring for her own animals, fun music, and family gatherings where she was honored to make the pumpkin pie.

Deborah is survived by her brother Michael; sister Denise; daughters Nichole and Dana; son Justin; 13 grandchildren and many more who grew to know her kind, bold love and loyalty.

She is preceded in death and has gone to meet her father and mother William and Ursula Lewerenz; brother Bill; sister Kimberly and daughter Megan.

Her service will be held on March 7th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home at 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral FL, 33991, from 11 to 12pm with a Celebration of Life to follow. Flowers and condolences can be delivered to her children who will present them at her service.
