Dennis Irons, Sr., 61, of Cape Coral passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016. Born June 13,1955 in Neptune, NJ, Dennis drove tractor trailers for Jersey Coast Egg Producers, Fort Myers Lumber, and most recently Garden Street Iron and Metal, Inc. He loved being a tractor trailer driver and devoted his life to his family and loved his dogs like they were his children.
Dennis is survived by his beloved spouse of 42 years, Kathleen; 2 loving children Dennis Irons, Jr. and Catherine (Peter) Schwarz; 4 dear siblings Gary (Carol Ann) Irons, Debbie (Alan) Ullmer, Vivian Irons, Matthew Irons and 3 cherished grandchildren Gabrielle, Daniel, and Dominic Schwarz.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vivian and Ernest Irons.
A viewing will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery Friday, December 23rd between the hours of 10 - 12pm with a religious service and entombment to follow. A catered event will be held in the funeral home at 1pm.
