Don was the founder and President of Dura-Carb, Inc. in Oak Ridge, NJ. Upon retirement, he spent his time in Grand Lake Stream, Maine and Upper Captiva Island, Florida. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, snowmobiling, ATV-ing and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid New York Rangers and New York Yankees fan and one of the best people to open clams during the Fireman’s Fair every Labor Day weekend. Don served in the US Army as a young man and continued his service as a member of the Hook and Ladder Company within the Booton Fire Department.
Don is survived by his wife of 54 years, JoAnn (nee Pflueger) and four sons; Scott(JoAnn), Mark(Nancy), Kurt(Amy) and Keith(Amber). “Pa” was loved and adored by his grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Megan, Lauren, Reagan, and Greta. Don was a brother to Clifford Beiermeister and Judith Heinke.
