Born in New Haven Connecticut, she was the daughter of William and Sally Richards (Wardner). Her love of education drove her to obtain multiple degrees which she applied to helping others through healthcare and early education. She was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
She enjoyed spending time with family, writing short stories and poems.
Known to family as Eliz or Beth, you could often hear her laugh echoing before seeing her. Beth will be remembered for always opening her house and heart to everyone she met, including animals. She was always there with open arms, an encouraging word, and a shoulder to cry on.
She is survived by her parents, her siblings Jeff Richards, Lynn Richards (Leite), and her four children, Samantha (Trickett), Jacob, Dayleen, and Zachary.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in the Adirondacks.
