Evelyn Luthi, 77, of Cape Coral passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Born December 14, 1935 in Lake Park, MN, Evelyn married Donald Luthi in 1957. They lived in the Hawley / Moorhead, MN area for many years. During this time she helped her husband run a business flying fishermen to Canada. In 1979 they moved to Minneapolis where they owned an air cartage cargo business, Air Freight Express. They moved to Cape Coral in 1983. Evelyn enjoyed many activities including reading, shopping with friends, and traveling.
Evelyn is survived by her beloved spouse of 57 years, Donald; daughter Pamela Gallipo; son Mark Luthi, 5 grandchildren Jaime, Jacquelyn, Kristin, Kayla, and Kalli; 5 great grandchildren Nevaeh, Tristan, Benjamin, Joshua and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Marie Olson and 2 infant boys.
A memorial service will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14th at 10am with a gathering at 9am. Friends and family are invited to have food and refreshments immediately after the service.
