Glenn had a career in electrical engineering and was the owner of several successful businesses throughout his life. He was the owner of Machine Drive Company & Spohn & Associates. Later in life, after his retirement, he owned Olde Fish House Marina. Glenn was also an Airplane Pilot and a Licensed Boat Captain.
He was a local member of the American Legion, Masons, Moose Lodge, and the VFW. Glen was passionate about boat trips, fishing, and flying his planes.
Glenn is survived by his life partner of 25 years, Sue Wallace; his three children David Spohn (Anna), Dan Spohn (Sharon), and Sharon Weast. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Edward Hausgen, Alison Hausgen, Andrew Hausgen, and one great granddaughter Gracie Hausgen to forever cherish his memory.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us as we celebrate the life of Glenn on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A visitation for Glenn will be held from 11:30 to 1:30, followed by a funeral service officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Turk at 1:30.
