Ignazio D’Alba, 73 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. He was born on January 15, 1941 in Sicily, Italy to Erasmo and Francesca Furia D’Alba. He moved to Cape Coral in 1984 from New York. Mr. D’Alba worked as a Building Supervisor for the Lee County School Board. He was a communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 50 years, Anna Maria Armetta D’Alba; sons, Anthony (Francesca) D’Alba of Fort Myers and Orazio (Susan) D’Alba of Mableton, GA; grandchildren, Michael, DeAnna and Giovanni; brother, Thomas (Maria) D’Alba of Brooklyn, NY.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm on Monday, January 19th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, January 20th at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral with Entombment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
