James Thomas Hall Farrell, III, 28 passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. He was born on December 19, 1990 in Cape Coral, Florida. Jimmy grew up loving to skateboard and spent a lot of time at the skate park in downtown Fort Myers. He really enjoyed several Caribbean Cruises and the time spent in Texas visiting family and friends. Jimmy had a deep interest in computers, building websites and developing programs, pursuing a career as a software engineer, he was very good with computers. Most recently he started cycling, and loved it. The one thing Jimmy most enjoyed and loved was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving family including his mother, Tracey McConnell Farrell of Clearwater; father James Thomas Hall Farrell, Jr and his wife, Jean Nunal Farrell of Cape Coral; grandmother, Joyce Potter of Frisco Texas; sisters, Lindsay Farrell of St. Petersburg, and Callie Farrell of Cape Coral; brother, Brandon Sturm of Grafton, West Virginia; stepmother Shirley Echual Farrell, Cape Coral; niece and nephew Brakelle and Brock Sturm of Grafton; aunt and uncle, Kristin and Jeremy Sax of Frisco, Texas; uncle and aunt, Jeffrey and Carrie McConnell of Fort Myers; aunt, Kelly Fedorka of Pennsylvania; aunt and uncle Janet and John Seykora, of Broomall, Pennsylvania; uncle Richard Farrell, Broomall; aunt Patricia (Jack) Giaccio of Broomall; cousins, Liam Sax, Jennifer Fedorka, Thomas Fedorka and Melissa Fedorka, Maria Seykora, Thomas Seykora, Katrina Seykora, Teresa Seykora and Francesca Seykora; as well as extended family members. Jimmy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Jovina and James T.H. Farrell, Sr.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, July 25th at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral with Father Jan Antonik, officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
