Mr. Rhoades is survived by his wife, Mary Tuten Rhoades; his mother, Virginia L. Mulholland; his brother, Dusty Rhoades; his sister, Phyllis Sommer; his sons, Duane Rhoades, Richard Rhoades, Lowell Halbach; his daughter, Holly Gardner; and several grandchildren. His son, Brian Rhoades, predeceased him.
Mr. Rhoades served in the United States Navy for eight years. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters of America for 40 years. He was a Mason for 20 years and he was an avid golfer.

A Memorial Service will be on February 24 at 1:00 pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home in Cape Coral for friends and family.
Mr. Rhoades will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on March 10.
