Jorge Luis Perez, who was also remembered as “Piki” to his family and friends, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on October 1, 2025. Jorge was born in Barranquilla, Colombia on August 30, 1958; he was 67 years old at the time of his death.
Jorge graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1976 and attended college at Kean College. Soon after, he proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves, where he was part of the Artillery Unit and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
