Kevin Michael O’Hara, 62, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at his home. Born in Rockville Centre, New York to Cecelia and Daniel F.X. O’Hara, moving to Florida in 1988. Kevin was a warm and giving person who was devoted to his family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his loving family including his wife of 40 years, Nan Peterson O’Hara; children, Laurie O’Hara and Sean O’Hara whom he deeply cherished; sister, Patricia O’Hara of Washington, D.C.; mother–in- law, Beverly Peterson of Cape Coral; nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many wonderful friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral. Interment will be at Coral Ridge Cemetery. The family suggests donations in his memory be made to: Hope Hospice, National Diabetes Association, or A.H.R.C., New York.
