Lawrence Charles Ball, 31, a lifelong resident of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was born on March 27, 1994, in Cape Coral, where he grew up, built his life, and formed the connections that meant the world to him.
Larry was known for his big heart and love of family. He had a love for video games, where he found both adventure and community; music, which he enjoyed in all its forms; and anime, which fueled his imagination and sense of wonder. He was also a devoted fan of old-school WWE wrestling, drawn to the larger-than-life characters and stories that reminded him of the joy and excitement of childhood.
To those who knew him, Larry was more than his hobbies—he was a loyal friend, a caring family member, and someone who made sure all that crossed his path felt seen. Larry never knew a stranger. His kind and caring heart is something that will be remembered long after his passing.
He is survived by his loving mother, Kristen Sparks and her husband, James; father, Lawrence Ball; maternal grandparents, Linda and Lou Ferreira; paternal grandfather, Charles Ball; as well as uncles, cousins, family members and friends.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held 11:00 AM, Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S., Cape Coral, FL 33991. The family invites friends to come for a time of visitation from 10:30 AM until the service time.
Larry’s life, though far too short, was filled with aspiration, connection, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
