Luis Cairo, 78, of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 9, 2013. He was born in Oriente, Cuba on Oct. 9, 1934 to the late Tomas Cairo and to the late Filomena Gonzalez. Luis moved from Cuba with his wife and children in March 1968 and moved to New Jersey. Upon retirement in 1997, he moved with his wife to Cape Coral. He had worked for 25 years as a plant operator for a steel door company. He spent his fun days staying active outdoors, watching baseball and spending time with his family, friends and dogs. He was very creative, hardworking and loving to everyone. He was a family man with a compassionate heart. He leaves to forever cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 53 years Deicy Cairo; their children Gloria Rivero and Luis Cairo Jr.; their four grandchildren Christie Rivero, Michael Rivero, Michelle Cairo, and David Cairo; and his beloved sister Gladys Blanco.
